I worked within the in-house design function, contributing across multiple strategic initiatives while operating as a mid-weight designer with increasing ownership and responsibility.
Project overview
During my time at Lightsource bp, I worked across a broad portfolio of projects, ranging from everyday brand and marketing design to large-scale strategic initiatives. These included the company’s Sustainability drive, the “Be The Change” recruitment campaign, and digital product work for the Tribe App, developed under LSBP Labs (the company’s technology and innovation arm).
While reporting to a Senior Designer, I often acted as a design lead in practice, owning end-to-end delivery across multiple disciplines from brand identity and UX design to motion and digital execution.
Design & UX Process
1. Brand Understanding & Creative Direction
Embedded into the Lightsource bp brand and sustainability values.
Worked closely with stakeholders to interpret briefs and translate them into clear creative solutions.
Helped evolve visual consistency across campaigns while supporting innovation and experimentation.
2. Concept Development & Design Execution
Developed concepts and delivered design across:

Played a key role in overhauling existing design structures, improving consistency and scalability.

Designed UX flows and interfaces using Adobe XD.
