Project overview

The rebrand marked a significant shift in Allianz’s global identity, requiring the translation of thousands of assets into a new visual and brand system across all Allianz Trade countries.
Working within a small, highly collaborative team of three, under Project Management oversight, we shared equal responsibility for the end-to-end delivery. This included adapting and rolling out the new brand across marketing materials, UX templates, typography, and internal documentation, ensuring consistency at scale while supporting local market needs.
The work spanned digital and print, demanding rigorous attention to detail, strong governance, and close coordination across multiple stakeholders and regions.
UX & Creative Process
1. Brand Immersion & Alignment
Embedded into the new Allianz Trade brand guidelines, visual language, typography, and tone of voice.
Aligned early with Brand, Marketing, and Project Management to understand non-negotiables, timelines, and global rollout strategy.
Established shared quality standards to ensure consistency across regions.
2. Asset Audit & Prioritisation
Conducted a comprehensive audit of existing Euler Hermes assets, including:
Brochures, flyers, posters
UX templates and digital components
Fonts, layouts, and visual systems
Prioritised assets based on business impact, regional dependency, and rollout deadlines.
3. Design Translation & Systemisation
Translated thousands of assets into the Allianz Trade brand, ensuring:
Visual consistency
Brand compliance
Accessibility and usability where applicable
Adapted UX templates to support digital products and internal tools.
Ensured typography, spacing, and layout adhered strictly to Allianz brand standards.
4. Collaboration & Governance
Worked closely with Project Managers to track progress across countries and asset types.
Collaborated with regional teams to accommodate local requirements without compromising brand integrity.
Maintained clear version control and documentation to support global distribution.
5. Quality Assurance & Rollout
Carried out detailed QA across all asset types to ensure brand accuracy and production readiness.
Supported phased rollout across Allianz Trade countries, ensuring teams had the assets and guidance needed for adoption.
Challenges
Scale and volume: Translating and managing thousands of assets across multiple formats and regions.
Global consistency: Ensuring a unified brand while supporting regional variations and languages.
Small team delivery: Delivering enterprise-level transformation with a lean team structure.
Time sensitivity: Coordinating a global rebrand within fixed launch windows.

Results
Successfully supported the global transition from Euler Hermes to Allianz Trade across all markets.
Delivered a consistent, recognisable brand identity across digital, print, and UX touchpoints.
Enabled regional teams to confidently adopt the new brand through clear, production-ready assets.
Demonstrated effective delivery of a large-scale rebrand with a small, high-performing team.
Contributed to Allianz Trade’s ability to present a unified global presence under the Allianz brand.
Leadership & Collaboration
Operated as an equal contributor within a tight-knit, high-output team, sharing responsibility and ownership.
Worked cross-functionally with Brand, Marketing, UX, and Project Management stakeholders.
Balanced creative quality with operational discipline and delivery at scale.
